We are Currently Seeking a Human Resources Manager
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for updating and implementation of HR policies, procedures and company handbooks. Manage and oversee the hiring and onboarding procedures. Work closely with the HR team and organizational executives on HR strategizes to align with business objectives and enhance companies’ culture and performance.
Job Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Create, update and implement HR Policies, procedures and company handbook.
- Ensure all policies are clearly communicated to employees and enforced.
- Implementation and management of HR management portal in our company software.
- Work Closely with HR team and Organizational executives to strategize and align company culture and performance with the business objectives.
- Create and maintain employee job descriptions and process for onboarding and exit interview
- Work with the HR team to oversee benefits and policies are harmonized.
- Oversee payroll administrator, verify and confirm weekly input and facilitate payroll process.
- Work with Benefits and Insurance manager on programs, requirements and implementation. Work with manager on all program audit needs.
- Work with Safety Department on analysis and interpretation of work force trends. Including gathering and analyzing metrics to help decision making.
- Work with Executives and Safety Department on developing and implementing necessary training, including a yearly safety day.
- Serve as point of contact for all employee grievances, and mediate workplace conflict and coordinate re-training as needed.
- Assist with recruiting and interviewing qualified candidates.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace environment. This will also entail organizing company initiatives and events to enhance team collaboration.
Candidates will need to meet the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in HR management role, with a mid to large size employer (3 years preferred).
- Knowledge of current employment laws and best practices.
- Must be detailed-oriented
- Must have strong work ethic, be well-organized and a self-starter
- Ability to interact with employees in a professional manner
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Construction Experience is Helpful
