We are offering a bilingual Spanish contract to permanent employment opportunity with one of our clients in the education industry. The person in this position will be instrumental in guiding employees through their academic journey, ensuring smooth transitions into their chosen education programs, and providing necessary support to overcome academic challenges.
Responsibilities :
- Provide regular communication and support to employees throughout their academic journey using various outbound communication tools and methods.
- Collaborate closely with program advisors to facilitate seamless transitions for employees into their chosen education programs.
- Offer assistance to employees in formulating and reaching their academic goals, developing effective study strategies, and efficiently managing their time.
- Connect employees facing academic challenges with appropriate resources such as tutoring services or academic support programs.
- Keep track of student progress, providing constructive feedback on performance, identifying areas for potential improvement, and highlighting possible obstacles.
- Stay aware of key milestones and deadlines, proactively offering reminders and ensuring employees remain on track with their academic plan.
- Conduct regular check-ins and progress reviews to assess progress and celebrate achievements.
- Develop and conduct workshops and resources on academic success, study skills, and time management.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with employees, employers, and educational institutions.
- Must be FLUENT in Spanish and live in PST time zone (cannot reside in CA)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Academic Advising or a similar role
- Proficiency in computer programs and applications
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Ability to handle answering inbound calls efficiently
- Demonstrated skills in assisting customers and providing excellent service
- Knowledge of benefit functions within an academic setting
- Experience with billing functions is highly desirable
