- Execute diverse accounting functions to ensure financial accuracy
- Handle account reconciliations to confirm the accuracy of transactions
- Manage job cost to track project expenses
- Perform account coding for proper allocation of expenses
- Work proficiently with accounting software systems for efficient financial management
- Utilize ERP solutions to streamline and integrate various business processes
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities promptly
- Ensure all financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Assist in financial audits and implement audit recommendations
- Keep up-to-date with financial policies, regulation, and legislation.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Demonstrated understanding of ERP solutions
- Proficiency in executing accounting entries
- Ability to perform all basic accounting functions
- Experience with account reconciliation
- Familiarity with job cost and cost accounting in the construction industry
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
