We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accountant in LAS CRUCES, New Mexico. As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing revenue accounting in accordance with GAAP guidelines and ensuring audit-ready records. You will also be expected to contribute to financial reports and participate in various accounting procedures, with a focus on the comprehensive management of Accounts Receivable.Responsibilities:• Oversee the management of Accounts Receivable on a daily to yearly basis• Balance all receivables and grants/contracts on a monthly basis• Assist in maintaining records of assets and property• Perform random audit checks and bank reconciliations as required• Provide support for Payroll and Accounts Payable roles when necessary• Engage in job-related developmental training• Handle the upkeep of financial records and participate in revenue accounting• Adhere to GAAP guidelines and maintain audit-ready records• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports• Participate in other accounting procedures as needed.
