We are searching for a meticulous Accountant to join our team, based in Ocala, Florida. In this role, you will manage accounting functions, keep track of accounts payable, handle cash deposits, and maintain general accounting responsibilities across various retail locations.Responsibilities• Manage the processing and verification of vendor invoices as part of the accounts payable process.• Handle daily cash deposits and ensure the reconciliation of sales data across all retail locations.• Aid in the month-end closing processes, account reconciliations, and the generation of financial reports.• Keep accurate records and resolve any discrepancies that may arise.• Contribute to audit processes when required.• Ensure the efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications.• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.• Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data.
