What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Analyst position at Robert Half?
As an Accounting Analyst you are responsible for supporting and ensuring accurate and timely accounting and financial information is entered into the system.
Tasks as follows:
- Collaborate with the corporate team to fulfill audit requests and tax reporting requirements, including preparation of provided-by-client schedules.
- Prepare and post journal entries with proper support, approval, and secure electronic storage.
- Assist in preparing detailed variance analyses supported by account reconciliations
- Assist with timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist HR with payroll-related tasks, including processing semi-monthly payroll batches and maintaining employees records in ADP.
- Actively participate in initiatives to accelerate the monthly close process by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Maintain internal accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP standards. Provide Ad hoc analyses as needed
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Prepare, maintain and reconcile Intercompany allocations and reconciliations

*Must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
*Must speak both Spanish and English for this role.
*Exposure to LATAM preferred
*Must have a large ERP software knowledge such as Oracle, SAP, Great Plains, etc...
*Must have advanced MS Excel skills Pivot tables, V-loop up, Macros, etc
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
