Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues and vendors to resolve invoicing discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Process vendor payments and cash receipts efficiently, leveraging advanced technology tools such as BOT processing.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) checks, ACH transactions, and outstanding invoices with precision and urgency.
- Conduct detailed research to address vendor queries or complaints while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Support invoice coding and maintain financial integrity through excellent attention to detail.
- Work cross-functionally to deliver a seamless service experience for vendors and internal teams.
- Contribute to shared departmental goals through a proactive, team-oriented approach.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding corporate, personnel, and vendor data.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and assist with other finance-related duties, ensuring smooth operations during high-volume periods.

Requirements
What You Bring to the Team:
- Proven AP/AR experience, including handling high transaction volumes and cash receipts in a detail-focused role.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to resolve inquiries effectively and maintain vendor relationships.
- Solid foundation in accounting principles and procedures, coupled with an analytical mindset.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills for data reporting and organization.
- Ability to prioritize and pivot in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
- Exceptional customer service abilities with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Self-driven and highly organized, capable of managing time and workload independently.
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is ideal.
- Experience: At least 2 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on accounts payable. Prior experience in the engineering or construction industry is a plus but not required.
