Our client out of Saratoga is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to fill their Accounting Clerk Role. This person would assist with basic accounting and data entry tasks. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate records, ensuring no backlog of invoices, and supporting the team during a busy period.
Responsibilities :
Enter vendor and subcontractor invoices into the system.
Maintain accurate and timely data entry to prevent backlogs.
Utilize SAGE Timberline software (preferred, but not required).
Collaborate with a small team of strong-minded individuals in a fast-paced environment.
Manage responsibilities independently.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.
- Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice verification and payment processing.
- Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, payment chasing, and recording receipts.
- Ability to manage billing tasks, including creating invoices and credits, updating records, and responding to billing queries.
- Strong data entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in Invoice Processing, including checking, verifying, and processing invoices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.
