Robert Half is looking for a skilled Accounting Associate to join our growing client in Chandler, Arizona. As an Accounting Associate, you will be tasked with managing accounts payable and receivable, credit card & bank reconciliations, new vendor set ups and providing month end close support. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions
- Handle account reconciliation tasks diligently
- Reconcile credit card statements/accounts
- Process invoices in a timely and efficient manner
- Posting Journal Entries for month end close process
- Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary
- Leverage Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting
- Complete new vendor set ups. including proper 1099 documentation
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records
- 3 years of hands on Accounting experience required, Associates Degree in Accounting a plus
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
- Experience working with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), with a clear understanding of the processes involved.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures and principles
- Strong knowledge of MS Office with intermediate Excel skills
