Accounting Clerk

Salary: $23.75 to $27.50 hourly

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Grove City, Ohio. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an opportunity to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records.

QuickBooks experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Reconcile account discrepancies and ensure all financial records are up-to-date.
• Handle invoice processing, including verification and data entry into accounting systems.
• Perform billing activities and ensure timely collection of payments.
• Maintain and organize financial records and documents for easy access and audit readiness.
• Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data.
• Collaborate with team members to support financial reporting and compliance efforts.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records for a manufacturing facility.
• Provide support in resolving accounting-related queries and discrepancies.
• Contribute to process improvements within the accounting department.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related roles.
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with invoice processing and billing procedures.
• Experience working in a manufacturing industry or facility is preferred.
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
