Accounting Manager

We are providing an opportunity to join our team in Springfield, Massachusetts, as an Accounting Manager. This role is within the financial services industry and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounting Manager, you will be tasked with managing accounting software systems, overseeing financial processes, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the use of accounting software systems to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all journal entries are accurately recorded
• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Utilize Blackbaud software for various accounting tasks
• Handle inquiries regarding ADP financial services and provide necessary assistance
• Monitor and manage the use of Concur and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks and data analysis
• Ensure all financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures• Proven expertise in executing Month End Close procedures
• Demonstrable experience in preparing and reviewing Journal Entries
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Hands-on experience with Blackbaud accounting software
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas
