We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Bradenton, Florida. This role involves managing a variety of accounting tasks, including improving business processes / system optimization within Blackbaud Financial Edge fund accounting software and the overall maintenance of accurate financial records. In-office presence is preferred for this role, but client is open to a hybrid arrangement and would potentially consider remote for an ideal candidate. Responsibilities:• Oversee accounting tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency• Implement and uphold best practices for Blackbaud Financial Edge software• Manage the cleanup of all accounting records retrospectively for last few months • Handle go-forward accounting, ensuring all future records are clean and accurate• Prepare financial statements and conduct account and cash reconciliations• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) • Oversee payroll processes and ensure they are carried out accurately• Ensure the foundation is audit compliant for the following year• Oversee budgeting processes and ensure they are carried out accurately and efficiently.
