We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Waukesha, Wisconsin. In this role, your main responsibility will be to maintain customer records, process applications, and address customer inquiries. You will also manage customer accounts and take necessary actions. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Carry out the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications• Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records• Serve as the point of contact for customer inquiries and provide necessary resolutions• Oversee customer accounts and take appropriate action when required• Handle sensitive and confidential information and documents with discretion• Conduct basic accounting tasks and transactions, maintaining records of expenditures, collections, revenue, or budget information• Prepare routine journal entries in department/division accounts as directed• Spot discrepancies in records and undertake corrective action• Assist customers, provide information, answer questions and direct them to the appropriate staff when necessary• Create, update, and maintain spreadsheets for department/division files and records• Prepare bank deposits and execute cashiering and p-card transactions• Participate in department/division meetings and maintain effective, positive, and respectful working relationships and communications internally and externally• Use HRIS and other department-specific software, adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations.
