The candidate will primarily focus on matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / contract / temporary opening.What you get to do every day- Facilitate internal and external audits as needed- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs- Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling- Execute additional tasks as needed- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed- Accomplish full-cycle A/P- Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily- Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
