We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk based in WOODMERE, Ohio. This role is within the industry and requires the individual to be on-site. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be reporting to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for various tasks including maintaining vendor files, processing payments, and handling invoices.Responsibilities:• Handle all aspects of Accounts Payable, which includes keeping vendor files up-to-date.• Ensure invoices are processed for payment after obtaining necessary approvals and sign-offs.• Manage the processing of payments in a timely and accurate manner.• Oversee the annual preparation and distribution of 1099’s.• Maintain a high level of accuracy in invoice data entry and payment.• Ensure proper approvals are obtained for invoices before processing payments.• Check runs to ensure accurate and efficient payments.• Use Microsoft Excel for maintaining and updating invoice records.• Code invoices appropriately for accurate record keeping.
