As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage and oversee the processing of invoices and payments, maintain accurate financial records, and provide efficient customer service in a detail oriented manner.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the processing of invoices and payments to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Use ERP Solutions and SAP for financial management and record keeping
- Keep financial records up to date with recent transactions and changes
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and in a detail oriented manner
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
- Ensure all financial data is accurate and complies with internal policies
- Work with the team to improve financial processes and systems
- Proactively identify and address any issues that could impede the financial workflow.
- Proficiency in using ERP Solutions is a key requirement for this role.
- Extensive experience with SAP software is necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proven experience in managing and resolving invoice discrepancies.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal departments.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
