Accounts Payable Supervisor

We are actively searching for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to add to our team based in Irving, Texas. This role operates within the industry, focusing on managing the daily operations of a high-volume accounts payable department. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual who is comfortable with leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the operations of a dynamic accounts payable department, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payments.

• Manage the full cycle of the accounts payable process, including 3-way matching, invoice processing, and vendor account reconciliation.

• Build and maintain robust relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Monitor vendor accounts and promptly identify and resolve any discrepancies.

• Drive operational efficiency by leveraging technology and automation in the accounts payable space.

• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

• Foster a positive and supportive work environment by training, developing, and motivating the accounts payable team.

• Prepare monthly and annual reports for management review.

• Engage in the preparation of the annual audit.

• Utilize Business Central, Concur, and other accounting software systems to perform accounting functions and data processing efficiently.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree required

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Supervisor or Manager.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Experience with Concur is highly desired.

• Strong data processing skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions.

• Extensive knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP).

• Familiarity with accrual accounting principles.

• Auditing experience is a must.

• Proficiency in Business Central 365 is preferred.
