We are offering an exciting opportunity located in Lexington, North Carolina for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be tasked with handling a variety of accounts receivable duties, including managing incoming payments, customer communication, and daily reconciliation of accounts.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process incoming payments in accordance with financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage overdue accounts, implementing collection strategies as needed.
- Handle and resolve customer inquiries regarding payment terms, balances, and account updates in a timely and detail oriented manner.
- Ensure daily reconciliation of accounts receivable transactions aligns with manufacturing operations.
- Generate aging reports for accounts receivable and provide insights to management on account statuses.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all account activity, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Utilize Sage accounting software and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze accounts receivable data.
- Handle cash applications and billing related to accounts receivable.
- Execute cash collections and commercial collections as part of overall accounts receivable management.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
- Strong skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) management
- Experience in Billing procedures
- Knowledge of Cash Applications
- Proficient in Cash Collections
- Experience in Commercial Collections
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Sage Accounting Software
