The individual will carry out critical roles such as managing customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer queries.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the processing of customer credit applications with precision and efficiency
- Uphold accurate records of customer credit
- Manage payment processing to vendors, ensuring timely disbursement of funds through checks, ACH, or wire transfers
- Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries regarding payment status, billing discrepancies, and other payment-related issues
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions, ensuring that all discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly
- Adhere to internal controls and financial policies to ensure compliance with company guidelines, legal requirements, and accounting standards
- Assist in generating accounts payable reports for management, including aging reports, payment status reports, and other financial data as requested
- Contribute to process improvements in the accounts payable function, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
- Review and process employee expense reports for compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring proper documentation and approvals are in place before payment is processed
- Assist with audits and provide required documentation as needed.
- Proficient in account coding and accounting software systems.
- Familiarity with Concur and other ERP solutions.
- Ability to perform various accounting functions.
- Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Proven experience in auditing.
- Strong capabilities in handling billing function
