We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Manager in the heart of St. Petersburg, Florida. Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of six, including analysts, payroll specialists, and technicians
- Process high-volume payroll for approximately 3000 employees
- Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues, including taxability of new initiatives
- Handle accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and balancing
- Manage customer inquiries and take appropriate action
- Monitor customer accounts and implement necessary actions
- Maintain and update accurate customer credit records
- Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
- Learn and adapt to the company's payroll processing methods
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Payroll Manager
- Proficiency in 401k - RRSP Administration
- Extensive knowledge of Accounting Functions
- Experience in Auditing
- Familiarity with Benefit Functions
- Proficient in Oracle
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
