Responsibilities:• Oversee and lead audits for municipalities, counties, cities, and other government entities, managing the audit lifecycle from planning to reporting• Utilize your proficiency in AdvanceFlow Thomson Reuters and Prepared By Client (PBC) workpapers to execute audits and manage client-provided documentation• Collaborate with other audit detail oriented individuals to ensure timelines and deliverables are met, providing guidance to entry level team members and fostering a productive team environment• Maintain compliance with regulatory, accounting, and auditing standards, including GASB and GAAP for governmental entities• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering detail oriented audit results and occasionally meeting clients on-site in or near Overland Park, KS.
