Houston software client is looking for a direct hire Benefits Support Specialist is responsible for providing accurate and timely assistance regarding employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other company-sponsored benefit offerings. This role involves working closely with PEO, employees, vendors, and HR teams to ensure seamless administration of benefits and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees and candidates regarding benefits questions, enrollment issues, or claims inquiries
- Working knowledge of how a PEO runs
- Knowledge of MDV, COBRA, ACA, 401K etc
- Educate employees on available benefit options and processes during onboarding and open enrollment periods.
- Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations in internal systems and vendor platforms (Source: Company Benefits Guidelines).
- Ensure proper documentation for all benefits-related transactions in compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Investigate and resolve employee concerns related to benefits such as claims discrepancies, eligibility issues, or billing errors (Source: HR Policies).
