We are in the process of recruiting a Benefits Specialist for our team situated in Memphis, TN, United States.
- Research, analyze, and administer healthcare plans and wellness programs, from medical and dental benefits to disability and family leave
- Assist with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs
- Assist with the open enrollment process
- Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability, FMLA, and employee life status changes.
- Prepare and execute all regulatory filings, compliance, and annual audits.
- Appeal decisions made by insurance companies, resolve disputes, and solve problems with benefits and compensation programs
- Perform quality checks of benefits-related data
- Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
- Assists with new-hire orientations.
- Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes.
- Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility.
- Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
- Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities.
- Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges.
