Our client offers full-benefits, paid parking and ability to work with a tenured leadership team.Key Responsibilities:Billing and Invoicing:Prepare and process legal invoices in compliance with client billing guidelines and internal firm policies.Ensure accurate timekeeping and cost entries on legal invoices.Review and verify billing entries from attorneys, paralegals, and other legal staff for accuracy and completeness.Create and update billing templates, taking into consideration client preferences, billing arrangements, and specific client matters.Client Liaison:Serve as a point of contact for clients and internal staff regarding billing inquiries, disputes, or concerns.Work directly with clients to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain a positive client relationship.Provide periodic billing reports and status updates to clients as needed.Compliance and Audit:Ensure all invoices comply with legal industry standards, client guidelines, and applicable regulations.Perform regular audits of invoices to ensure compliance with retainer agreements, fee structures, and billing arrangements.Monitor the billing process to identify and resolve any issues or inconsistencies in a timely manner.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to streamline billing workflows and improve efficiency within the legal billing process.Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate revenue recognition and assist with month-end and year-end closing.Data Management and Reporting:Maintain and update billing records and files, ensuring that all data is accurate and up to date.Prepare detailed billing reports for management review, providing insights into revenue, outstanding balances, and client trends.
