We are in search of a Bookkeeper/Office Manager to a local company in Tomball, Texas on a contract to hire basis. This local business is expanding and is in need of an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper/Office Manager to handle the day-to-day financial activities and office operations. The ideal candidate will have a head for numbers, experience with MS Office, and strong bookkeeping abilities.Responsibilities:Manage all day-to-day bookkeeping duties including maintaining accurate financial records, posting financial transactions, reconciling bank accounts and credit cards.Undertake data entry tasks for past business documents ensuring information is correct, complete, and up-to-date.Responsible for creating and managing purchase orders, ensuring all purchases are accounted for and verified.Track work in progress (WIP) - prior experience is a plus but is not essential.Handle daily cash flow management, including approving spending limits on various projects as per budgetary parameters.General office management duties to ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day operations.
