We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in the industry, located in Los Angeles, California. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Your role will involve working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments.Responsibilities • Oversee the financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.• Perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.• Utilize bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, and databases to process data.• Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.• Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of individual projects.• Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies.• Issue invoices to customers based on services rendered and/or goods sold.• Process business expenses.• Coordinate internal and external audits and manage tax audits and tax returns.• Ensure compliance with all internal processes.
