We are seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to join our team in the construction contracting industry based in Jupiter, Florida. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing financial records, processing accounts, and ensuring accurate financial data. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Accurately process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable• Efficiently handle data entry tasks and maintain up-to-date records• Deliver accurate bookkeeping functions and perform bank reconciliations• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks such as creating Pivot Tables and using VLOOKUP function• Conduct month and year-end closes, ensuring all financial data is accurate• Handle payroll functions using ADP software • Maintain financial records and perform journal entries in QuickBooks• Prepare and issue invoices in a timely manner• Post payments to the General Ledger as needed• Generate Profit and Loss (P& L) statements and provide necessary financial reports.
