We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Biddeford, Maine. As a Bookkeeper, you will be expected to manage financial records, handle accounts payable and receivable, and perform account reconciliations. Responsibilities:• Manage and maintain financial records with high accuracy• Handle Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner• Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring all payments are received and properly recorded• Perform Account Reconciliation tasks, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies found• Conduct Bank Reconciliations regularly to ensure financial records are in sync• Utilize Bookkeeping practices to maintain and manage financial data• Data Entry tasks to update and maintain financial records• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reports• Conduct Month End Close tasks to ensure all financial data for the month is accurate
