Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer

Description

We are in search of a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our team in the manufacturing industry located in Irving, Texas. The BI Engineer will be tasked with managing and optimizing our information systems, working extensively with BusinessObjects Technologies, Cognos Business Intelligence, and Dax Technologies among others.

Responsibilities:
Utilizing BusinessObjects Technologies to design and implement effective business intelligence systems.
Leveraging Cognos Business Intelligence to gather and interpret data from multiple sources.
Employing Dax Technologies to build and maintain BI solutions.
Using Informatica to extract, transform, and load data into the BI system.
Implementing Maps API to provide detailed geographic data.
Conducting comprehensive analytics to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Developing and managing BI solutions with a focus on Business Intelligence Technologies.
Preparing detailed Business Requirement Documents to guide the BI development process.
Collaborating with Business Users to understand their needs and develop suitable BI solutions.
Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all BI solutions and data reports.

Requirements

Proficiency in BusinessObjects Technologies is required
Experience with Cognos Business Intelligence is a must
Familiarity with Dax Technologies is necessary
Proficiency in using Informatica is expected
Knowledge of Maps API is required
Strong analytical skills are essential
Expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) is necessary
Familiarity with Business Intelligence Technologies is expected
Ability to create effective Business Requirement Documents is required
Experience in dealing with Business Users is a must
