Business Systems Analyst

Description

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the government industry, based in a location in Texas, United States. The position is for a Business Systems Analyst and involves acting as a critical bridge between various business departments, ensuring effective communication and validation of business requirements for alterations to business processes, procedures, and business systems.

Responsibilities:

Facilitating communication between various business units to gather, analyze, and validate business requirement changes
Supporting the applications team in delivering robust solutions across the enterprise
Collaborating with software, hardware, and detail-oriented service vendors
Developing automated process workflow routines to enhance business processes using deployed applications
Participating in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of third-party software, vendors, and service providers
Monitoring the ERP application environment and enhancing system performance where necessary
Providing technical and end-user support for multiple software systems, offering technical guidance on various software programs
Troubleshooting applications and software, collaborating with vendors, end-users, and other IT staff to resolve operating issues
Creating and delivering software application training programs, scheduling, and conducting training sessions
Responding to IT Help Desk requests, tracking, and documenting problems through to resolution
Conducting research on solutions for existing problems and gathering information on new technologies.

Requirements

In-depth knowledge and experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
Proven experience in Business Systems Analysis.
Proficiency in using CRM systems.
Demonstrable experience in conducting Gap Analysis.
Familiarity with AB Testing methodologies.
Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
Skilled in Backlog Grooming.
Understanding of Business Process Functions.
Experience in creating and maintaining Business Requirement Documents.
Previous experience in a government role is a plus.
