Our Baltimore-based client is seeking an experienced Workday Financial Consultant with a specialization in forensic accounting to address and rectify significant inaccuracies within their Workday financial systems. The consultant will focus on reviewing, analyzing, and correcting financial data in Workday to help stabilize the organization’s accounting, grants, allocations, budgets, and related processes.
This pivotal role requires a dedicated expert who can meticulously identify errors, implement corrections, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial systems moving forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in governmental accounting (city / state), extensive experience with Workday's financial modules, and a proven ability to manage complex forensic accounting projects remotely.
- Conduct a thorough forensic review of the client’s Workday financial data, identifying and documenting inaccuracies.
- Analyze and correct issues in accounting, grants, allocations, and budget processes within Workday.
- Develop and implement workflows to ensure system-wide accuracy and consistency in financial records.
- Collaborate with internal finance teams to understand key pain points and establish corrective solutions.
- Create detailed reports of findings, corrections, and recommendations for improving financial data management.
- Provide guidance and best practices for maintaining financial integrity in Workday systems post-corrections.
