Collections Specialist

Salary: $22.00 to $26.00 hourly

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the industry of financial services, located in Nederland, Texas, United States. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with a background in credit and collections, and a knack for effective communication. You will be required to work on-site and leverage your skills in Accounting Software Systems, Accurint, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, and Epic Software, among others.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications.
• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure they are accurate.
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services for various tasks.
• Use Accurint and CRM tools to manage customer information and interactions.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and perform billing functions.
• Answer inbound calls, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues.
• Administer claims and facilitate collection processes.
• Use Epic Software for various financial and administrative tasks.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential for effective tracking of financial transactions.
• Familiarity with Accurint for skip tracing and debtor location.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services to manage payroll and other financial aspects.
• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage interactions with customers and potential customers.
• Knowledge of Epic Software for healthcare billing and collections.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage due payments from clients.
• Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls in a detail oriented manner.
• Experience in Billing Functions, including invoicing and maintaining payment records.
• Familiarity with Claim Administration to handle insurance claims.
• In-depth knowledge of Collection Processes to recover the amounts due from customers.
