We are providing a long term contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the Medical Devices industry, based in Aliso Viejo, California. As a Collections Specialist, you will take on a variety of responsibilities related to customer accounts, focusing on accounts receivable and collections processes. Responsibilities:• Accurately manage the billing process and resolve customer billing discrepancies• Oversee the collection processes to reduce outstanding DSO• Work closely with the Accounts Receivable team and customer support to ensure smooth operations• Regularly reconcile vendor statements and perform account reconciliations• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process credit applications efficiently• Demonstrate proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel• Handle B2B collections and cash applications• Take responsibility for answering inbound calls and posting payments• Regularly update and manage aging reports to keep track of overdue accounts• Deliver excellent customer service while dealing with all account-related inquiries.
