Robert Half has partnered with an established growing company in Mebane, North Carolina to assist them in hiring an experienced Corporate Controller. This role will be integral in managing the accounting department, overseeing general ledger accounting, and preparing consolidated financial statements. The Controller will also be responsible for maintaining accurate account records, reconciling intercompany transactions, and assisting with tax planning. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of five years of supervisory experience.Responsibilities:• Oversee the accounting department, ensuring efficient operations and accurate reporting.• Manage general ledger accounting for multiple companies, ensuring compliance with GAAP.• Oversee detailed monthly and annual account reconciliations.• Prepare monthly financial statements, including consolidated balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.• Assist with the preparation and review of quarterly analysis reports.• Update and maintain the debt ledger and assist with managing loan documents.• Review fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules.• Coordinate with CPA firm for annual audit engagement• Tax planning • Prepare annual operating and capital budgets.• Conduct quarterly trend analysis reports.
