- 15 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting roles.
- Proven expertise in the commercial real estate sector, ideally with experience in REIT structures.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting regulations, including proficiency in GAAP standards.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a mindset of anticipating challenges and proposing innovations.
- Exceptional leadership abilities in a hands-on, "player-coach" environment.
- Advanced skills in spreadsheet systems, database applications, and financial modeling tools.
- CPA designation preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to articulate technical concepts to varied audiences.
- Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization, demonstrating agility and adaptability.
