Key Responsibilities
Cost Analysis
- Analyze manufacturing, operational, or project costs and provide detailed reports to management.
- Track and evaluate actual costs versus projected costs, identifying variances and key trends.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to project future costs and recommend cost-effective strategies.
Reporting and Recordkeeping
- Prepare cost reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate cost data records to support compliance, audits, and financial reporting requirements.
Cost Control
- Partner with operations and procurement teams to monitor and control expenses while improving profitability.
- Perform margin analysis to find opportunities for cost reductions or improved operational efficiency.
Inventory and Fixed Asset Management
- Oversee inventory valuation, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and an accurate understanding of inventory costs.
- Support the management of capital spending and fixed assets assessments.
Process Improvement
