We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Wholesale Distribution - Dur Goods industry in SOUTH WINDSOR, Connecticut, 06074-1016, United States. We are seeking a Credit Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing customer credit applications, maintaining credit records, and handling customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with overseeing customer accounts and taking necessary actions.Responsibilities:• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications in an accurate and efficient manner• Manage and maintain accurate records of customer credit • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns• Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary• Assign tasks to team members for investigating and verifying the financial status and reputation of prospective customers• Coordinate training for new team members on company credit policies and procedures• Handle the drafting of invoices, Master Sales Agreements, Sales Order Acknowledgments and Promissory Notes• Collect and review financial information for the assessment of credit limitations and contract terms• Establish credit limits on customer accounts and manage special credit arrangements and deviations from standard payment terms• Coordinate with other personnel in company branches and credit card companies to exchange information and update controls• Assist management in formulating credit policies
