Data Analyst

Description

We are currently looking for a Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a knack for seeing solutions in sprawling data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our company. They will use a large data set to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action.

Responsibilities:

• To provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
• Conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design.
• Analyzing and interpreting complex data sets relating to the employer's business.
• Preparing reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
• Using Power BI, SQL, and other data dictionary tools.
• Developing protocols for data analysis within the company, alongside the IT department.
• Using advanced computerized models to extract the data needed.
• Removing corrupted data.
• Performing and interpreting data studies and product experiments concerning new data sources or new uses for existing data sources.
• Working with the management team to outline the company's data strategy and making recommendations about the infrastructure required.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting, and MS SQL.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong experience in generating and presenting reports.
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
