Deputy Director

Salary: $95.00 to $121.00 hourly

Description

We are seeking a Deputy Director within the Information Technology industry, located in Western Massachusetts. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As the Deputy Director, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gaps between disciplines such as IT, facility operation, research computing, and business operations. You will also be instrumental in enhancing the productivity of the staff by contributing towards streamlined facility and business operations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate strong project management, leading by influence and not authority
• Utilize your strong technical background in facility operations or IT to contribute to business growth
• Leverage good writing and communication skills to build consensus around technical and business plans and solutions
• Utilize your strong background in information technology to maintain and improve data center operations
• Comfortably adapt to a variety of roles, from novel and challenging tasks to routine administrative duties
• Understand and adapt to existing practices, while also influencing their evolution within the community of users and research computing organizations
• Utilize your knowledge of Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, CRM, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Contracts, Deployments, Deskside Support to perform tasks effectiv
  
  
  

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a thorough understanding of Cisco Technologies.
• Proficiency in Cloud Technologies is required.
• Must have experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.
• The candidate should be equipped with ERP Solutions skills.
• Familiarity with Backup Technologies is mandatory.
• Should possess strong knowledge of Computer Hardware.
• Experience in drafting, analyzing, and managing Contracts is required.
• Must have hands-on experience in Deployments.
