We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in the Telecom Services industry. Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be tasked with diagnosing and troubleshooting PC systems, handling software and hardware updates, maintaining backups, and managing the imaging and deployment of new systems. You will also be providing remote support to end users, and coordinating system shipment for resolution.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the diagnosis and troubleshooting of PC systems to resolve issues.
• Maintain up-to-date backups and perform diagnostics on failing components.
• Manage software and hardware updates efficiently.
• Oversee the imaging and deployment of new systems.
• Provide remote support to end users and coordinate system shipment for resolution.
• Lead and train fellow desktop administrators in organizational procedures.
• Contribute to the knowledge store used by the desktop support team.
• Monitor the activities performed by the desktop support team and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Maintain the accuracy of the asset management library.
• Contribute to the planning and organization of IT projects across departments.
• Execute the asset management procedure and contribute to the project planning of hardware and software procurement process.• Proficient in Android Development, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
• Extensive knowledge of Cisco Technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies, particularly in supporting virtual desktop and application solutions.
• Strong understanding of Computer Hardware, with the ability to diagnose and repair various devices.
• Experience with Dell Technologies, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Proficient in Active Directory, including user and group management, and access control.
• Experience in supporting Apple Devices, including Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
• Knowledge of Backup Technologies, with the ability to implement, monitor, and troubleshoot backup systems.
• Familiarity with Configuration Management, including maintaining and improving system configurations.
