As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be tasked with handling IT-related issues, including support for desktops, laptops, printers, and handheld scanners. Your proficiency in operating systems, applications, and technologies will be crucial to your role.Responsibilities:• Provide support for desktop and application technologies including desktops/laptops, printers, and handheld scanners.• Display a strong working knowledge of the Windows OS and desktop productivity tools such as Microsoft Office.• Manage virtualization technologies and active directory operations.• Understand and troubleshoot networking protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.• Support VPN applications and Microsoft products and applications, including Windows OS, Office Suite, Teams.• Offer web browser support for platforms such as Chrome, Edge.• Utilize IT Service Management Systems like ServiceNow.• Handle operating systems like Windows, MacOS, Linux.• Manage mobile device management (MDM) solutions and file-sharing platforms like OneDrive, SharePoint.• Support remote desktop protocols and tools.• Provide support for email systems and protocols, including Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, IMAP/SMTP.• Implement endpoint security solutions and offer printer and peripheral support.• Use collaboration tools effectively.
