We are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst in the manufacturing industry, based in Neptune City, New Jersey. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will provide exceptional technical support, including software installation, systems software troubleshooting, and network problems resolution. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in customer service, ensuring that all interactions are detail-oriented and customer-focused. Responsibilities:• Offer both local and remote technical support, addressing issues such as password resets, account unlocks, and hardware installations• Handle software application installation, deployment, and configuration tasks for computers, mobile devices, and printers• Manage local computer inventory and maintain secure hardware storage• Provide comprehensive support via walkup, phone, and email• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, mobile devices, telecom, systems software, and networks• Deliver technical support for video conferencing tools, WebEx, Teams, Wi-Fi, and Boardroom VIP onsite meeting tech support• Maintain and escalate issues related to Network Printer, Copier, and Security Camera systems to the appropriate vendors• Work on incident management, including monitoring, tracking, and communication throughout the lifecycle of an incident or service request• Ensure compliance with Incident Management processes by reviewing tickets for accuracy and completeness• Lead and/or participate in IT projects aimed at enhancing the quality and efficiency of Service Delivery across the IT technical teams• Serve as the local IT support for other CIS teams (Network Operations, System Operations, etc.) and coordinate customer and support issues to ensure timely distribution of knowledge, productivity, and positive impact on customer satisfaction• Acquire and maintain knowledge of current support policies and methods of support delivery in order to provide technically accurate solutions to customers• Travel to other New Jersey sites for on-site support as required.
