OUr client is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical and customer service skills, with 2-4 years of experience in providing help desk support in a Windows-based environment. This role requires hands-on expertise in workstation setup, hardware maintenance, and imaging, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with end-users to resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally.Responsibilities:Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop and help desk support to end-users for software, hardware, and peripheral device issues.Set up, configure, and maintain Windows-based workstations, ensuring high reliability and optimal performance.Perform imaging and deployment of desktops, laptops, and other devices as needed.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating to higher levels of support when necessary.Maintain and repair hardware, including desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, and other peripheral devices.Document all issues and resolutions thoroughly in the ticketing system.Collaborate with IT team members on larger projects, such as system upgrades or migrations.Educate and assist end-users with IT processes and tools to improve their overall technology experience.Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards for IT services.
