The Director Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for developing forecasts and budgets, analyzing and reporting financial and operational results, and developing joint venture proformas while working closely with senior leadership, cross functional teams, and operating teams and provide direction and leadership. S/he will establish a positive working relationship with the business leadership teams based on strong financial and business acumen, strategy and performance.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Analyze monthly activity against prior month, prior year, forecast, budget and other measures.
• Oversee monthly operating reports and reviews.
• Enhance forecast process. Direct monthly, annual, and quarterly forecast processes.
• Work closely with VP of Business Development evaluating potential Joint Venture partnerships.
• Direct annual target setting process and execution of current year budget.
• Develop and build a more robust budget process.
• Provide financial training.
• Direct focused analysis on key issues.
• Apply strong strategic thinking to solve challenging business issues.
• Drive major business initiatives across the entire organization, leading the strategic thinking underlying large-scale projects.
• Build support and gains alignment with the leadership team on key business initiatives.
• Influence key decisions and business strategy through sound business logic, executive presence and polished presentation skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to interact in a professional manner with people at all levels of the organization, including senior/executive management.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
• MBA and/or CPA HIGHLY preferred
• 7 years related experience in HEALTHCARE required! Will consider public accounting experience (audit) in lieu of Healthcare experience
• Resourceful nature, with strong problem-solving and customer-service orientation.
• Superb interpersonal skills with ability to partner well with other team members and interfaces effectively with all levels of management.
Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
