Responsibilities
- Oversee the risk management process and principles involved in power operations.
- Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Employ data mining techniques to assess and mitigate potential risks.
- Handle corporate internal audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct business risk assessment to identify potential threats to the operations.
- Develop and implement an effective audit program to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Leverage knowledge of accounting functions to make informed financial decisions.
- Hold responsibility for the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
- Manage compliance risk to ensure adherence to laws, rules, and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks in power operations.
- Advanced skills in financial and risk analysis
- Expert knowledge operations related to regulatory, financial, operating and legal issues
- Advanced knowledge of regulations of the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), Oregon Public Utility Commission (OPUC) and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
- Familiarity with Data Mining Techniques is crucial for this role.
- The candidate should have a deep understanding of Accounting Functions.
- Auditing experience is a must for this position.
- Proficiency in Audit Program is required.
- Experience in Corporate Internal Audit is necessary.
- The candidate should have a strong background in Business risk assessment.
- Certification in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) is required.
- Understanding of Compliance Risk is essential.
- Ability to Conduct Risk Assessments is crucial.
- The candidate should have experience in managing Corporate Risk.
