We are offering a long term, part-time (20-30 hour a week) contract employment opportunity for an Event Manager in Seattle, Washington. This role is vital within our industry as it includes managing all aspects of event planning and execution, including in-person, hybrid, and virtual events.Responsibilities:• Act as a central point of contact for all event-related logistics, coordination, and implementation. • Develop and manage event documents including run-of-show plans, logistics outlines, and backup strategies.• Collaborate with the communications team to track RSVPs, dispatch invitations, and handle registration.• Engage with vendors, venue personnel, and other staff members to ensure all event details are managed before, during, and after the event.• Assist with the physical setup and breakdown of events, including arranging room layouts and coordinating AV requirements in conjunction with the Office Manager.• Record event procedures and create summary reports for internal consistency and future planning. • Utilize CRM software to maintain accurate customer records and process customer inquiries efficiently.• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.• Use your skills in Microsoft Office, Eventbrite, iStock, Otter.ai, Survey Monkey, Zoom, 3M, BeOS, Chef, and Cisco Webex Meetings to enhance the event experience.• Apply your knowledge of Budget Processes, Catering, Communication, and Conference Calls to ensure smooth event operations.
