We are seeking an Export Customer Service Specialist to join our client's team located in Oak Brook, IL. As an Export Customer Service Specialist, your role will be crucial in handling customer inquiries, keeping precise records, and ensuring prompt and correct invoicing after material delivery. This position is 100% on-site, offers a yearly salary of $55,000-$65,000 full benefits.Responsibilities• Manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously, ensuring all queries are responded to in a detail-oriented and timely manner.• Assist in the preparation of necessary paperwork for shipments including COA, BOL, Packing List, and Commercial Invoice.• Work closely with Freight Forwarding companies on matters such as bookings, cut off dates, etc.• Monitor material allocation and inventory and follow up shipments on the designated websites.• Update the Export Status Excel sheet and distribute it weekly.• Input Freight Forwarding and Drayage Invoices in the systems.• Participate in department meetings focusing on relationship building, information sharing, and best practices.• Exhibit a high level of detail orientation in all communications, paying special attention to style, tone, and manner.• Offer support to fellow customer service specialists as needed.• Carry out other duties as assigned.
