Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide on-site technical support at multiple locations, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues at the specified locations (Watchung, NJ, Dallas, PA, Whitestone, NY, and Sea Isle City, NJ).
Perform routine system maintenance, software installations, and updates.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Assist with network setups, configurations, and troubleshooting.
Install and configure printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Maintain accurate documentation of all service requests, resolutions, and inventory management.
Ensure all customer requests are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues when needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in IT support, with a focus on field services or on-site troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS systems, along with general network troubleshooting.
Familiarity with common office hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively and professionally in multiple locations.
Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license to travel between locations.
Schedule:
2 days per week in Watchung, NJ
1 day per week in Dallas, PA
1 day per week in Whitestone, NY
1 day per week in Sea Isle City, NJ
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, plus per-mile reimbursement for travel between job sites.
