Responsibilities:
• Lead the annual budgeting and planning process, monitoring progress and updating the executive team on our financial status.
• Oversee and manage organizational cash flow, forecasting, and monthly profit and loss and balance sheet production.
• Implement and monitor sound fiscal management practices and internal controls.
• Handle monthly accounting processes including bookkeeping, payroll management, payables, and receivables.
• Foster relationships with key external vendors, financial institutions, and insurance carriers.
• Implement a robust contract management and financial management/reporting system; ensure adherence to contract billing and collection schedules.
• Prepare, present, and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors.
• Provide staff support to the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors.
• Oversee the association’s information technology platforms, ensuring ongoing maintenance and quality.
• Manage and track organizational need for computer hardware and software, procuring new equipment and programs as needed.
• Oversee risk management activities, including business insurance and other legal documents and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role such as Finance Director or Senior Finance role.
• Proficient in Budgeting and Forecasting activities.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing Cash Flow Forecasts and Cash Flow Reports.
• Ability to comprehend and manage Profit and Loss statements.
• Familiarity with the preparation and analysis of Monthly Balance Sheets.
• Ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation effectively.
• Experience in Month End Close procedures.
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
• Excellent leadership abilities and experience in team management.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
• Ability to strategize and solve problems promptly.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
