The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be tasked with managing all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping functions, including the processing of accounts payable and receivable, overseeing payroll, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate processing and management of vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments and verifying accuracy and approvals.
- Handling customer invoicing, monitoring outstanding balances, and ensuring on-time collections.
- Administering payroll for W-2 employees, which includes the calculation of wages, deductions, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Preparation and reconciliation of quarterly financial reports, and closing out monthly accounts to provide accurate financial summaries.
- Ensuring compliance with tax deadlines and regulations, including the preparation and filing of 941 payroll tax forms and other necessary filings.
- Maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with accounting principles, ensuring all transactions are recorded appropriately.
- Efficient use of QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel for tasks, including advanced features such as pivot tables, charts, and formulas.
- Processing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions effectively and accurately.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding and experience in executing all accounting functions
- Proven experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Practical knowledge in carrying out payroll functions
- Expertise in using QuickBooks Pro for financial management
- Familiarity with payroll taxes, including preparation and submission
- Experience in preparing and managing W2 forms
